Aims and Scope of GRADSTAR
GRADSTAR (GRADuate STudent Academic Research workshop) is a yearly research event organized by a committee of graduate students from the METU EEE Department. It aims to provide a platform for graduate students to present and share their research studies. Since 2014, the workshop has been evolving according to the feedback that the contributors provide.
GRADSTAR encourages the graduate students to
→ Share research results with young researchers, faculty members, and colleagues,
→ Get feedback from expert academic researchers at poster submission and during the presentation,
→ Take the opportunity of improvement through educational seminars (overseas research programs, entrepreneurship donations, graphic design principles),
→ Win appealing financial aid awards,
→ Have the research poster to be exhibited on department walls for a full semester.
